The most impressive of the African Mango clinical studies was published in Lipids Health Dis. 2009 Mar 2;8:7. This double-blind placebo investigation involved 102 overweight or obese, but otherwise healthy, adults over a 10 week period. The members of the study were asked to make no other lifestyle changes. The participants received either a 150mg dosage of IGOB131® (African Mango Seed Extract) or a placebo twice a day before meals. After 10 weeks the placebo group showed virtually no change, but the IGOB131® group lost an average of 28 pounds, 6.7 inches from their waistline and reduced body fat by 18.4%.

IGOB131, African Mango – What Did Dr Oz Really Say About African Mango

Learn the truth about what Dr Oz really said about African Mango and IGOB131 – a patented African Mango Seed Extract. In this video, we show you exactly what Dr Oz said on his website, no more hype – just the facts on African Mango, IGOB131, weight loss and Dr Oz.

Supports Weight Loss

“…significant differences were observed between the placebo and experimental intervention groups, respectively, for body weight (210 pounds vs. 187 pounds, respectively), and waist circumference (40 inches vs. 34.5 inches, respectively). Body fat decreased over time in both groups but the experimental group lost significantly more body fat (6.3%) compared to the placebo group (1.9%).”

Cholesterol Levels

The previous results are impressive enough to stand alone, but the difference in cholesterol levels was equally impressive.

Again, quoting from the report available at www.PubMed.gov…

“At week-10, significant differences were observed for total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol. Compared to baseline values, total cholesterol decreased by 1.9% in the placebo group as opposed to 26.2% for the IGOB131 group while LDL cholesterol levels fell by 4.8% in the placebo compared to 27.3% in the IGOB131 group.

But wait…there’s more! One more quote from the research…

Fasting Blood Glucose Levels

“Blood glucose levels in the experimental group and in the placebo group were similar at baseline but decreased to significantly different levels at week-10 of the study. In relative terms, decreases in placebo and treatment groups were 5.3% vs. 22.5%, respectively.”

The results speak for themselves.
