I Heart Health Podcasts
If you are a health-nut like me, maybe you can never get enough fitness and nutrition information. Podcasts are definitely my favorite way to to obtain the latest wellness news. They are sooooo convenient. I love reading books and blogs, but, I don’t always have time to sit down and read. Podcasts are perfect because I can listen and … drive, workout, or even do laundry. Podcasts allow me to successfully multi-task – woo hoo!
Where to Begin?
If you have an i-phone, there is a podcast app on the front page. Click it, and choose Top Charts for a list of the most popular podcasts, sorted by category. You can select the Health category, or simply search for one of the well-liked podcasts listed in this blog.
I read through several “Best Health Podcasts” blogs, and found some names mentioned over and over again. I’ve enjoyed listening to many of the them.

Shout Out to My Bud, Josh Trent at Wellness Force Radio
Rising to the top of the iTunes charts, Wellness Force Radio is on my personal favorites list, and it is my go-to podcast. Why? Because …

Josh specializes in Wellness Technology, and his podcast often addresses the mindset needed to achieve better health. But I think where Josh really shines is his ability to share authentically and openly. He’s not afraid to talk about his past struggles (with his own weight-loss and dealing with family member’s mental illness), or his passion to make helping others his life’s work. Truly inspirational.

Greatist – This list was my favorite because it grouped the podcasts by categories, such as, Paleo, Focus on Fitness, Nutrition, etc. One problem, it is a couple of years old, so, some of the podcasts mentioned may no longer be active.
Daily Burn – This list was shorter, more current, and still offered great variety in the types of podcasts mentioned, such as, “The Minimalists – Listen If: You’ve finally committed to cleaning out your closets.”
Green Blender – Another nice assortment for 2016, with a prevalence of vegan choices.
Player.fm – A list for Holistic Health
