  • ½ rice, dry
  • 5 cups boiling water

  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Zest of ½ lemon
  • 1/8 cup chopped parsley

  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Whisk the bone broth into the boiling water.
  • Then, combine all other ingredients in a small pot
  • Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat to a simmer for 35-40 minutes.
  • Turn the heat off and let sit for fifteen minutes.

Makes 1.5-2 cups of rice.
