It’s time to celebrate our favorite month of the year…
Earth Day (Month)! 

Up here in the Northeast USA, there are so many reasons to celebrate April! The temps are staying above freezing… the snow is melting away… the buds are starting to appear on the trees… bright green sprouts are just peeping out of the cold, dark ground. Mother Earth awakes once more!

Let’s Celebrate with Rainforests!

What better way to celebrate Earth Day (Month) than with rainforests… the lungs of Mother Earth. Why do we call the rainforests the lungs of Mother Earth? Because rainforests breathe 20% of the earth’s oxygen into the atmosphere. Rainforests also reduce climate change by pulling carbon out of the atmosphere.

In previous years Perfect Supplements has honored Earth Day (Month) by planting a tree with every order. This year we learned about a wonderful organization that is Protecting the Rainforest, Rainforest Trust. In 2019, Perfect Supplements will protect one acre of the Amazon Rainforest with every order in April.

3. Home to thousands of unique species of mammals, amphibians and birds.
4. Rainforest Trust uses 100% of donations for conservation because their expenses are covered by their generous board members.
5. Perfect Supplements loves protecting rainforests in the same continent (South America) that we obtain some of our superfoods such as Acai, Desiccated Liver, and Collagen. It’s a way for us to give back and say “Thank you!” 
6. Most importantly, Rainforest Trust partners with the local Center for the Development of an Indigenous Amazon (CEDIA) in Peru to purchase titles for the land that 220 indigenous communities call home. Perfect Supplements proudly partners with Rainforest Trust to protect the rights of these indigenous communities.
