My marathon training partner and sister Kara and I strapped on our running shoes at 8 AM on Sunday to run 20 miles before the blizzard really kicked in on the East Coast. I had snow stuck to my eyelashes and the bottom of my pants were frozen, but we did it! The first 15 miles or so were actually quite pleasant, sharing our run with a variety of birds, little animal prints in the snow, and about a dozen other brave souls on the bike path.

Running for a Cause

When I tell people I am training for a marathon, I am often asked if I am running for cause. Yes I am. Running for Lives

Cancer Research is important to the Perfect Supplements family because cancer is currently an epidemic problem among our family and friends. Here is a list of our closest family members currently living with cancer; Uncle Peter Genereux, Cousin Sasha Morelli, Brother-In-Law Gordon Lau, and Grandfather Vincent Morelli. Our Grandmother, Claire Ross, has undergone two cancer surgeries, and is currently free of cancer, yeah! In addition, there are a few family members who are remembered fondly; Chin Yick Lau, Beatrice Genereux, and Rita Tingley.

Wearing Ribbons

The Perfect Supplements Team will be wearing ribbons during the marathon on January 9th to represent our loved ones. We would be happy to wear ribbons honoring your loved ones as well. Simply leave us a comment to this blog with your loved ones’ names.
