Perfect Kale Side Effects

Kale naturally contains oxalic acid. This acid binds with important minerals, such as calcium, and makes those nutrient unavailable to the human body. Oxalic acid causes nutrient deficiencies and health conditions such as kidney stones.

There are two ways to reduce the amount of oxalic acid found in green vegetables; cook them or ferment them. By fermenting the kale, we have drastically reduced the amount of nutrient blocking oxalic acid while simultaneously adding beneficial probiotics and digestive enzymes.

Perfect Kale is simply a fermented, whole food, vegetable supplement and thus it rarely causes side effects. Do not take Perfect Kale if you are allergic to kale. The amount of healthy vitamin K naturally found in kale may interfere with blood thinning drugs such as Warfarin. Please consult with your doctor before starting new supplements.
