Protein Packed Acai Bowl [Paleo and Gluten free options]

This beautiful arrangement is packed with Protein, Fiber, Vitamin C and more. The Acai berry is one of the most nutritious and powerful super foods in the world.  Acai provides a remarkable concentration of antioxidants, fiber and healthy fats that can make you feel and look as fabulous as the bowl itself!  Here is how I made my acai bowl:

Blend Together and Place in a Bowl

I included Perfect Hydrolyzed Collagen for an extra boost of Protein- 10 grams per serving!  Collagen is also beneficial to the health of hair, skin, nails and can help you feel full longer.  The coconut oil is a healthy fat that can aid in weight loss and promote healthy digestion.  Banana, almond butter/milk and cacoa powder are tastes I enjoy very much together.  By my recipe you may be able to tell I am focusing on losing ten pounds and ten years, but then again at my age who isn’t?

Top With Pretty Yummy Stuff

  • Organic Fresh Fruits
  • Organic Cashews, Chia and Sunflower Seeds
  • Granola (or Paleo Granola)

Organic Fresh fruits are a great source of natural fiber and Vitamin C.  Organic Nuts and Seeds add Protein and Healthy Fats.  Granola is filling and a good source of Fiber.

What is perfect about an Acai Bowl is that it is a quick, nutritious meal or snack recipe that you can be creative with and adjust to your preferences and nutritional needs.
