What: If passed, this initiative will require all food sold in retail outlets in to be labeled if produced through genetic engineering. This initiative would also ban companies with products containing GMO ingredients from labeling those products as ‘All Natural’. Proposition 37 will give companies 18 months to change their labels. New labels will impose little to no cost to the consumer.

Where: Voting on Proposition 37 is open to all residents legally eligible to vote in California. Perfect Supplements urges California residents to VOTE YES!

Why: We are currently one of the only developed countries that does not require the labeling of genetically modified foods. If Proposition 37 passes in California, similar legislature for the rest of the country is likely to ensue. Genetically modified organisms have NOT been proven safe for human consumption. In fact, they’ve been proven the opposite. Your health and the health of your family is not a science experience. Now is the time to act.
