Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake

shakesmallMMMM, is there anything better than pumpkin pie? Rich, creamy, seasonal pumpkin – that delicate yet spicy Fall flavor – all wrapped up in a nutty, flaky, homemade crust! Nothing is better than pumpkin pie. In fact, I love pumpkin pie SO MUCH that eating it a couple times per season is NEVER enough. Unfortunately, I do not have the time nor metabolism to cook and eat homemade pumpkin pie every day, but luckily for the both of us, I’ve come up with a solution.

This creamy, dreamy, protein shake tastes exactly like pumpkin pie and takes only seconds to make. Better yet, it is packed with healthy fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals, and healthy fat.

Pumpkin Pie Protein Shake
1 – 2 scoops Perfect Collagen
1 cup almond milk
½ cup pumpkin puree
½ banana, sliced and frozen
1 handful raw almonds
1-2 tbsp. raw honey
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. ground clove
4 ice cubes

Directions: Add protein powder, almonds, and spices to a high speed blender and blend until a smooth powder is formed. Add remaining ingredients and blend until rich and creamy. This recipe makes 1 large protein shake. Enjoy! If you’d like to get extra creative, try freezing this creamy protein shake into a nutrient rich pumpkin ‘ice cream.’
