It’s Heart Day so why not show a little love to your heart and the hearts of all those you love. We have four tips to help you:
- Lower your risk of heart disease by not smoking, maintaining a healthy diet, exercising and limiting alcohol intake.
- Attain a healthy weight by eating lean meats, fish, whole grain breads and cereals, and 5-6 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Try to drink more water and avoid soda and fruit drinks.
- Become more active by joining the Gym, taking a dance class, walking or biking instead of driving everywhere, going for a swim, joining a bowling league, etc.
